Platinum Legal Spain reserves the right to decline or terminate services at any stage, even after payment, where legal or ethical obligations require us to do so. In such cases, any refund will be processed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

The stated service fees cover only the legal work specified within the chosen package. They do NOT include ANY third-party costs such as notary fees, Land Registry fees, taxes (including ITP, AJD, Plusvalía, or any other), translation services, architectural reports, or energy performance certificates. These costs remain the client’s responsibility and, where applicable, will be invoiced separately.

Additional services requested beyond the agreed scope will be subject to supplementary fees, as outlined in our Terms and Conditions. By confirming your purchase, you accept these terms and acknowledge that all services are delivered subject to Spanish law and our professional obligations.

Our conveyancing service covers every legal step required for property transactions in Spain — including contract review, title and debt checks, liaising with the Land Registry, and final registration. These services are the same across all packages to ensure every client receives complete legal protection.

 

Yes, an NIE (Número de Identificación de Extranjero) is required for any property purchase in Spain. It’s included in our Select and Elite packages, and can also be added to the Essential plan if needed.

 

Yes. With our Elite plan, we can manage the entire process remotely using Power of Attorney, including signing contracts, liaising with banks, and finalising the transaction without you needing to travel.

 

Our fees cover all legal services. However, property purchase taxes (like ITP or AJD) are separate costs. In our Select and Elite packages, we handle the filing and payment process for you.

 

This is included in our Elite package. We’ll assist with transferring or setting up water, electricity, and community fees to make moving into your new property as smooth as possible.

 

Absolutely. If you start with the Essential plan and later decide you need additional services like NIE application or POA, you can upgrade to Select or Elite at any stage.

 

No, notary fees are separate costs and are not included in any of our packages. This applies to both Spanish notary fees and any foreign notary fees you may incur. We’ll provide an estimate of expected notary costs at the start of your transaction so you can budget accordingly.
